The Galapagos Islands offer one of the best natural laboratories in the world to explore the way evolution by natural selection results in animal adaptations ideally suited to the environment.  You will try out a few activities in class that illustrate the process of natural selection for students, applicable to any grade-level, and these will be directly tied into the biology of the Galapagos Islands.
